ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
A TRAP FATALITY. (Per Press Association.) HOKITIKA, Jan. 10. Mrs Teosdale, of Brunncrton, and Mrs J. W. Thompson, of Greymouth, while proceeding to Koss to the funeral of a relative, were* capsized out of a trap. Mrs Teasdale was killed and Mrs Thompson seriously injured. Later. At the inquest on Mrs Teasdalc th«( evidence revealed tho fact that it was a pure accident, and that no blame was attachable to anyone.: The condition of Mrs Thompson, who was injured on (ho same occasion, is still causing grave uaxicty, KILLED ON THE RAILWAY. HAMILTON, Jan. 10. Two platelayers, John Kyle and Albert Heed, were proceeding t 0 work on a jigger near Morrinsvillc, when they collided with a goods train. Heed was killed and Kyle injured about the head. The deceased was married twelve months, and leaves a widow and infant.
