PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Melboubne, March 24. The Commonwealth Government has taken over New Guinea. Whßn the necessary documents arrive from England a Bill will be introduced providing a constitution for the Islands. ( Perth, March 24. I Donald McKay, charged with the J murder of a man named Gray, and 1 William Cullen and John Campbell, for aiding and abetting have been sentenced to death. There was a pithetic sctne in Courf, McKay, who is a young man, tearfully stating that he had not tha slightest intention of killing Griy when he struck bim under pi o vocation.
