The "Berliner Tageblatt" says: "Anger and indigation have been aroused over the French occupying defenceless towns. "We can now say to M. Millerand, 'We put trust in you. Thanks for what you have done. Plundering becomes easy. In one week you have done more than Lenin for Bolshevism." "Vorwaerts" declares: "They who are as defenceless as we are'have the right to demand .freedom from military threats."
