» " _ KOREBE-MOTUPIKO BRANCH. A meeting of the Korere-Motupikc Dranch of the Farmers' Union was hol<3 at Motupiko on July 26th. Mr G. L, Mead, president, was in the chair. _ A request from the Commissioner oi iaxes was received for information as to what postal -offices in this districi of the Farmers' Union were not supplied .with land and income tax forms —It was decided to notify him thai Motupiko, Kikiwa, Atipo, and. A proposal to try and get a cert air desirable property in the district cvi up for closer settlement for soldiers was left for the president to privateh interview the owner before furthei going into the matter. A report was received from the con vener of a meeting of returned soldier to organise a local Returned Soldiers Association, and asking for publicity for the same. Mac mahon, who are on a share-selling cam paign for the Farmers' Union Lim< Company, spoke on the matter.
