In the Senate, Senator Gardner asked whether the Government was prepared to consider a definite offer of reconciliation dtring the war period, and submitted a proposal for a new Cabinet, with Brigadier-General Ryrie as PrimeMinister. The proposed Ministry includes one Labour member. Senator Milien promised to submit the matter to his colleagues.
