Sydney, Oct. 7. . The weather was fine and there was a large attendance at the races to-d.v-y. The results were aa follows:—

Hurdles: Merrimas 1, Capintesta 2, Weenobah 3. Five starters. Won easily by twelve* lengths. Time, 4.45. Craven Plate: Woofak 1 3 Cagou 2, Gigandra 3. Twelve starters, including Ventura. Won easily by four lengths. Time, 2.5£, a record. Suburban Handicap: Simon Frisco 1, First Principle 2, Laggard 3. Sixteen starters. Won by one and a half lengths. Time, 1.395. Members' Handicap: Indiscretion 1, Hopoast 2, Coat-o'-Mail 3. Twelve starters. Won by two and a half lengths. Time, 1.545. Gimcrack Stakes: Starland 1, Sweet Corn 2, Three Star 3. Thirty starters. Won by one and a half lengths. , Time, 56 3-5 sees. ~

Sydney Handicap: Barlow 1, Kingsburgh 2, Alured 3. Thirteen starters, including Moonbria who was favourite. Barlow took command in the straight, and won by three-quarters of a lengt>.i Time, 2.33|.
