AMUSEMENTS.

PERMANENT PICTURES..

The new programme at the Theatre Royal includes an Edison drama "A Royal Romance," which tells in, admirable pictures of the unavailing love, of

a young musician, broken in health, for a princess. She, however, was destined to marry one of equal rank with herself. It fell to the artist to compose a grand march for her wedding, but it was his last work. "Perils of the White Light" depicts outstanding occurrences in the career of an actress. There is also a Vitagraph drama, "The King's Man," with a Lubin comedy, "When Cupid took in Washing," some interesting stories of fish culture, and other films of an excellent description.
