TOO MANY DOCTORS.

The rapid and continuous increase in the number of medical students at the Austrian Universities is occasioning serious concern among practitioners, many of whom.are already scarcely able - to make a living (says a Router telegram from Vienna). There are 600 medical "freshmen" at Vienna University this term, constituting a "record" figure. The Vienna Medical Association is collecting statistics of the number of practising: doctors in Austria, with the subject of inducing the Ministry of Education to adopt radical measures to restrict entries into the medical departments of the universities.
