TERMS OF THE FLOTATION.
UNEXPECTEDLY LARGE ISSUE

It is officially stated that New Zealand is underwriting a £3,000,000 loan, •re^ayablo in 1943 and 1963. Six months' interest will bo payable on August Ist.
The "Westminster Gazette" says that New Zealand is overdoing it. The market did not expect that tho colony would demand anything like three millions, and tho natural effect is to dopress tho market.
Tho New Zealand loan payments oxtend over four months, this, with accrued interest, making a bonus to subscribers of about 275.
Tho "Westminster Gazette" says that some of the usual underwriters aro refusing to underwrite.
