THIRD DAY'S RESULTS

Christchurch, Nov. 6. Tho weather was bitterly cold for the third day of the Canterbury Jockey Club's Metropolitan meeting, and the attendance was affected. The going, though a trifle heavy, was better than on Monday. Heavy rain set in after the second race, and the track quickly became badly cut up. The results were as follows:—■

Won by three lon""bhs with Aema ten lengths away third. Viuie, 3.1 3-5. Gold Finder soon had the measure of Bon Ton, and drawing away, worn by two lengths from Domino, who finished fast, and beat Bon Ton by a similar distance for second place. Bobrikoif was fourth, Los Angelos fifth, Masterpiece sixth, Vice-Admiral seventh, and Lady Lucy last. Time, 4.8 1-5. Rounding tho top turn Ngtaimara took charge, but in the straight he wag challenged by Ceylon, who won by two lengths. Time 2.45 3-5. The "tote' investments were £30,924.
