GIRLS TRAPPED ON A PARAPET

One girl was incinerated in tho fire at Barker's. Three wore killed by jumping 70 feet from a parapet, where 17 girls and two men were trapped.

Those remaining were saved by fire escapes, and tho others might have been saved but for tho crowd inciting them

to jump.
