AWARDS BY EDUCATION BOARD The following scholarships and bursaries were awarded yesterday by the Nelson Education Board: — Junior National Scholarships, £10 a year and £10 if holder is obliged to live away from home. — Dorothy F. E. Junker, Westport D.H.S. i Angus John Wattie, Wangapeka 2 The second of these must go to candidates from schools having not' more than 40 pupils in average attendance. ■ Nelson Education Board Junior Scholarships : — Daniel Hay, Burnett's Face. . Ida Win, Dovedale. Mary Power, Denniston. John Thorn,. Dovedale. These scholarships are of the value of £40 a year and are tenable for two years at Nelson College. Couston, Nelson Girls' 9. Dorothy Leach, Nelson Girls'. 10. Charlotte Humber, Reefton D.H.S. 11. Louis A. Bennett, Nelson Boys'. 12. Alfred Booth Nelson Boys': 13. Joel C. Taylor, Nelson Boys'. • 14. Ellen Vosper, Nelson. Girls'. 15. Emily D. Betts, Nelson Girls'. 16. Raymond C. Loveridge, Nelson Boys'. Qualification for the above in every case carried free secondary tuition.
