Mr li. P. Giblin, a well-known Nels^nian, has been appointed manager of the Nelson branch of Messrs Sargood, Son and Ewen, Limited. Recently Mr Giblin was town traveller in Wellington for the company, and was previously in Nelson branch. His many friends will^be glad to learn of Mr Giblin's promotion, and Avelcome him back to Nelson. — Mr B. Lewis, late manager of the branch has entered into business on his own account in partnership with Mr Turnbull, of Wellington as an indenter.
