BUSH FIRES IN HAWKE'S BAY.

Dannevirke, February 5. Bush fires have again started in the Piripiri district, near here. Holt's sawmill tramway and a bridge suffered. At Anderson and Son's sawmill one hundred chains of the tramline, the workmen's huts, and the stables were destroyed. The horses and co*itents of the stables were destroyed. The country between here and JWaiapwa is suffering terribly for want of rain.
