SOCIALISTIC SYMPATHY WITH THR GRIME.
Paris, Februray 4. Some Socialists in the French Chamber of Deputies submitted a resolution expressing Republican synv pathy with the Portuguese natior J and hoping for the establishment of a regime of liberty". The President refused to receive tho resolution. M. Pichon declareed that not a single Frenchman could excuse the assassinations. .,. M. Sembat, Socialist Deputy for Paris, shouted "France provoked the murder.' L - Another Socialst declared that King Carlos had met with an accident incidental to his profession. (Cries of "Shame."').
