SUNDAY SGHOOL UNION.

ANNUAL EXAMINATIONS

The examination of scholars conducted by the Sunday School Union on sth July was. attended by the largest number of scholars yet redorded. There were 751 candidates from 56 schools, All those, who gained 75 marks and over will get a prize and first-class certificate, those gaining 60 and under 75 will get a second class cesfcifiGate, whilst 54 and under 60. entitles the scholar to a third-class Gertificte. In the following record of tnose who have won prizes it will be noticed that two scholars, Jessie M. Forsyth, of the Oourtenay Place Congregational Scnool, and Amy Anderson, of the Constable street Congregational Sunday School, gained the full 100 marks. Both these scholars are in Grade V. (ages 10 and 11 years). The Governor is to present the prizes at a public meeting on Fri day, the 30th inst.
