Capetown, August 13. Mr E. H. Walton, Treasurer, has delivered his Budget for 1907^ showing a deficit of £640,000. It is estimated that the 1908 expenditure, will reach £8,073,000, and the revenue £7,765,000. The Treasurer an* nounced retrenchments in the Civil. Servioe, and an increase in the tax on incomes above £10,000.
