MESSRS GRIFFIN AND SONS' EXHIBIT.
Messrs Griffin and Sods, Limited, intend making a very effective display of their manufactures at the Exhibition, and yesterday afternoon, at the invitation of the Manager, Mr Geo. K. Griffin, the Directors inspected the exhibit, which is to be placed in the Nelson Court." Although confined in a show-case, sft x 4ft., the display is a comprehensive one and gives a capital idea of the extent and varied nature of the Company's manufactures. Some hundreds of different lines, comprising chocolates, biscuits, confectionery, cocoa, candied peei, cakes, Christmas and fancy goods, are niost effectively displayed. The numerous lines of chocolates, confectionery, and biscuits are artistically arranged upon a pyramid, the various other manufactures being used as a foundation, while the Christmas stockings, bon bons etc., are hung in strings suspended from the top of the case, which is surrounded by six framed enlarged photographs, five being views of some of the various manufacturing departments, and one a splendid exterior, showing the factory from the Central School ground. Altogether* the display reflects the highest credit upon the firm, and should cojitpare favorably with the exhibits of ontside firms.
