FOOTBALL.
NELSON RUGBY UNION. A mooting of the Management Committee was held in Stallard 's rooms last evening. Present: Dr. Andrew, the President, in the chair, Messrs Kitching, Nalder, Milne, Smith, Glover, Hurley, Secretary, Assistant Secretary and the Hon. Treasurer. The minutes of the meeting were read and confirmed. Outward and inward correspondence was considered as follows: — Applications were received from the Rival Club for No. 1 ground aud Albion Club No. 2 ground at the Park, and Nelson Club for Victory Square for Saturday next and were granted. The application of the Huia Club for reinstatement of Newton and Allen to First Junior was granted. The report of the Fixture Committee was adopted. The Secretary was instructed to write to the Police thanking them for their services during the past season. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr H. McArtney for providing a shower bath in the shed at the Park. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated the meeting. The following are the fixtures arranged for the season : — SENIOK.
