Ltell, May 21. The mine manager reports from the Lyell Creek Extended Company's mine for the week as follows : — The contractors have sunk the main shaft a further distance of 4ft, making the total depth 54ft. The sinking is hard a present. The contraotors for the tramway continue to make good headway, but have not been able to work fall time owing to the heavy rain.
