Auckland, May 21. Wm KcKer z r e, with four aliaseß, haß been committed for trial on a charge of aesaulting A oting -Detective Bailey. The evidenoe showed 'tbat the accused used a strangling hold. He was fined 30s also for damage to the detective's clothing.
