Sydney, May 21.

At the meeting of the Australian Mutual Provident Society the report was adopted. General satisfaction was expressed with the progress of the year. Sir Joseph Abbott and Joseph Abbott suggested commemorating the 50th meeting by voting £1000 from the funds towards tbe Jubilee Consumptive Hospital, which would only represent twopence apiece from members. The suggestion was warmly Mr J. V. Walker were re-elected direotors. Sir received.
