As a Jubilee gift to the Queen, Si' George Dibbs, ex-Premier and at present Managinging Trustee of the Savinga Bank of New South Wales, is forwarding a walking stiok made on bis own laths ftom a pieos of old timber unearthed from tbe foundations of the Australian Club. Tha atiok will be beautifully mounted in gold. At the half-yearly meeting of the Bank of New Boutb Wafes the report was adopted. It showed that the net profits amounted to £87,990, wbioh was added to the undivided balance of £22,339 A dividend or 9 per cent was deolared, and the cum of £22,500 carried forward. Tbe paid up capital amounts to £1,949,000 and the reserve to £1,191,000.
