Tbe following team bas been seleoted to play against Wellington on Saturday at Lancaster Park :— Full-baok, S. Orchard ; threepuarter baoks, J. O'Brien, A. Hobb?, and F. J. Cowliehaw ; _ve-.eights, A. E. White, halfback, A. E. Cook ; wingß forwards. L. Oram, and A. Johng'.on ; forwards. M. Lyrskey, H. Fr. st, H. Fanning. A. Kerr, J. Soffe, J. D. Fraeer, and George Duke. Considering the amount of material available, tbe team is as strong a one aa Canterbury can put in the field. The Clubs represented are Linwood, Merivale, Chrißtchuroh, Eaiapoi, and North Canterbury.
