(From our latest Exchanges.) An extraordinary discovery was made last week (saya late Perth paper) five rai!e3 from Bardock, ia the Ooolgardie district. Some prospectors osme upon a digger working a reef. They asked leave to inspect but were refused, and tbe digger offered to show them allovial ground which bis mate had found. He led them away ab^ut half a mile, and then told them to keep straight on. After a vain search they returned next morning to where they had first S9en him. The mm was gone. When the man's body was exhamed it was found that a pick had been driven with terrific force olean through his skull, and tbe body tben huddled into the workings and roughly covered in with debris which had been lying around the pit's mouth.
