Edwards and Co., of 32, Cornhill, .ondon, in their monthly circular, dated Nov. 18th, eport: — Wool.—Since onr last, the wool market has been cry quiet; enquiries have been unimportant, and raiisaetions resi rieted, The 4-th and closing series of üblic sales for the year will open on tho 23rd inst., nd extend to 14th December. The arrivals up to 6th inst. are:— Bales. On sth instant tton brought 44s to 4Ss '$ cwt, and beef 42s to 46a cwt; but at the last sale, 12th mat, there was re firmness in the market, and prices advanced, cially for fine qualities; mutton brought 47s to 6d *ty cwt, tho latter price for a choice lot, and f 44s 6d to 46s 6J ~|> cwt. There is no prospect : ncreased supplies from Australia, only 1900 casks telegraphed aa having been shipped for the month, king 4000 casks afloat to arrive up to tho middle of >ruary, and the stock here is small, not exceeding 0 casks in first hands. The stock of tallow of all ;s is a small one, and is not likely to be iucreased my great extent for the next three months. The isian market is closed, as far as shipments are cerned. Total stock, 9SOI casks against 23,695 ;s last year. ieather has met with limited enquiry, and, jgh prices have dropped, the result has not led to ye business. Adelaide wheat on the ;is now worth 55s to 55s 6d, and best qualities J manian and New Zsaland at 53s to 54-j all "_> 280 landed. Superfine Adelaide flour brings 38s to ( 6d, fine sorts 33s to 34*, and New Zealand or { manian 33s to 365, all 280 lb** net in store.
