N2B Sergeant Campbell, Armed Constabulary, also made 28. but on shooting off Richardson secured a buliV eye and Campbell an outer. On firing off for the first prize Goldie got a centre, aud Hoskins an outer. Ikpantm—Fifth match. 500 yards, 10 shots each. Prizes £7, £5, £4>, £3, and £1. Sergeant Fox, Canterbury 32 Lieutenant Skinner Auckland... - ... ... 32 Sub-Lieutenant Wilson, Otago .. 32 Sub-Lieutenant Hoskins, Thames ...' " 32 Constable Gallagher, Armed Constabulary '.['.• 31 In firing off for the first prize, Fox scowl 4, Skinner and Wilion each 3, and Hoskins 0. Skinner and Wilson then fired again for the second prize, when the former scored 4, and the latter 3. Sergeant M'Leod, Thames, and Constable Gallagher fired off for the fifth prize, which the latter secured with a centre.

The rangei prizes (of £2 each) in this match, were won by 200 yards—Not fired off. 500 yards—Private Tomlinson, Nelson, 26. 600 yards—3ub-Inspector G-ascoigne, A.C., 21. At the latter range, Private Tomlinson scored 21, and Corporal Burns 20. '
Infantry—Seventh match. 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards, seven shots at each range. Prizes, £18 £15, £12, £9, £8, £7, £6, and three of £5 each. Five range prizes of £2 each. This is the last match for deciding the Championship. The firing at the first range only has been completed, Lieutenant Skinner, of Auckland, took the rangeprize with a score of 26. The Nelson men stood high up, Tomlinson scoring 24, and Burns 21. At the end of the sixth match the highflsfc aggregate Scorers for the Championship were—
