IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled "The Regulation of Elections Act. 1868," I, John Sharp, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Waimea D'strict, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the 2lst day of November, 1859, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held! for the return of a qualified person to serve as a MEMBER of the HOUSE of REPRESENTATIVES for the said Electoral District, and that the Nomination of Candidates will take place, at the School Room Richmond, on MONDAY, the 26th day of December Next, 1859, at Noon, and that the POLL, if necessary, will be taken on THURSDAY the 29th day of December next, 1859.
