CROQUET CLUB
SUCCESSFUL FIELD DAY A successful Field Day was held at the local croquet lawns on Tuesday, when the event was favoured with beautiful weather. The proceeds of a generously supplied Sales table and competitive games augmented the club’s funds to a satisfactory extent. The winners of the various competitions were:—Progressive A, Mrs Cullen; progressive B, Mrs Russell; hurryscurry, Mesdames Blackbourn and Marsh; crazy croquet, Mrs J. Brown; uthbrella croquet, Mrs McKerrow; crochet duchess set, Mrs J. Lane, chocolates, Mrs Riley; dinner, Mrs JRussell; cake, Mrs F. Thomas.
