RECENT DECISIONS
TWO AROHENA APPLICATIONS
Decisions of the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority (Mr E. J. Phelan) given at Hamilton on 29th June, as affecting applications of local interest, were as follows:
In regard the application of F. R. Lawn for an amended timetable, Arohena via Te Awamutu, the Authority decided to amend the continuous passenger service by amending the timetable to depart 10 a.m. Saturdays ex •Arohena instead of 7.15 a.m., and the right to run additional trips as required.
New Application
The Authority decided to grant the application of Frederick Robert Lawn, for ?. new passenger service license in the following terms: —Area, within a 30-mile radius of Arohena, the fares to be in accordance with the approved schedule and the timetable to be as required. It was made a condition that all trips shall be of a contract nature.
