Many Motor Cycles

Over 100 motor cycles travelling south were counted by local residents travelling to Auckland on Saturday. That number was counted between Hamilton and Huntly. It is presumed that the Motor Cycle Sports at Fairfield was the venue of the cyclists. Many had pillion riders. A number of sports cars w r as also seen on the road. The Te Awamutuites counted some 80 other motor cycles between Huntly and Papakura. One foolish frider was seen imbibing from a bottle that had on it the label of a well-known brand of ale.
