SMITH—On Bth December. 1948, at her residence, Totara Street, Te Awamutu, Lilly, dearly loved wife of Walter Smith and loved mother of Gladys (Mrs McKenzie), Rene (Mts Fisher), Percy, and Jack, aged 63 years. •A Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Te Awamutu, to-morrow (Thursday), at 2 p.m., the funeral then leaving for the Te Awamutu Cemetery. SUNNEX—On sth December, 1948 ; at Taumarunui Hospital, Herbert John (Jack), late Forestry Company, Second N.Z.E.F., beloved son of Mr and Mrs T. Sunnex, Taringamotu, and loving brother of Tom (Ngaroma), Jim (Mangapehi), Doris (Mrs Kendall, Taringamotu), and Phoebe (Mrs Harrison, Taringamotu), aged 42 years. At rest (Interred at Taumarunui Cemetery on Tuesday, 7th December.) 83
