Operators Warned

Everywhere he went he was receiving complaints about operators not conforming to the terms of their licenses, said Mr J. O. Skoglund, at a sitting of the Transport Licensing Authority at Palmerston North. If there were any more complaints, •he would order a review of licenses, and if the operators were not careful he would revoke them. Everything was done to assist them on the evidence brought before him, but if operators wanted certain privileges and then, abused them they would get short shift if they came before him, he added.
