“DAIRY DISRUPTORS”

Sir, —My attention has been drawn to a statement culled from the “People’s Voice,” and which purports to be a report of proceedings of the Morrinsville Dairy Conference held on April 26th last. The statement is grossly inaccurate and contrary to fact in so far as Mr A. J. Sinclair is concerned, and it is quite apparent that the writer is trying to create disruption in the ranks of the leaders of the farming industry. There was no disloyalty expressed or implied at that meeting, and the attack upon Mr Sinclair can only be characterised as vicious. It is true Mr Sinclair did suggest substituting the resolution passed at the North Auckland conference for the Tatua remit, but as the delegates favoured the Tatua remit on account of its simplicity, Mr Sinclair withdrew his suggestion. Mr Sinclair’s loyalty and work in the interests of producers throughout New Zealand has been long and favourably recognised.—l am, etc., A. J. MURDOCH, Chairman, Morrinsville Dairy Conference.
