HOUSEHOLDERS’ MEETING
SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS Te Rore: Mr T. H. Richards (chairman), Mrs G. Bell (secretary), and Messrs G. Bell, E. Krippner, and T. Baker. Pukeatua: Mr C. M. L. Rumbles presided over the householders’ meeting at Pukeatua, which was only sparsely attended. Reports from the outgoing Committee and Miss Gunn (sole teacher) were read and adopted. The school roll has continued to decline in numbers, bringing the school to the verge of the lowest grade. The following Committee was elected for the ensuing period: Messrs C. M. L. Rumbles* (chairman), A. W. Graff (secretary and treasurer), B. J. M. Rumbles, S. K. Glazer, and J. Nicholson.
