MORRIS—CROOK The Kihikihi Presbyterian Church was the scene on Saturday, 4th April, of a most attractive wedding, when Ernest Keith, second son of Mrs and the late Mr E. M.orris, was married to Cecily Constance, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. F. Crook, of Kihikihi. The officiating minister was the Rev. Mr T. G. Shilton, and the organ was played by Miss J. Sutherland.

The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of pale blue sheer with a high neckline collar, trimmed with white lace, and a pleated skirt." From her blue felt hat fell a blue shoulder veil, and she carried a bouquet of blue streptocarpa, hydrangea, ceanothus and maidenhair fern. Her sister, Miss Gwendoline Crook, who attended as bridesmaid, wore a frock of salmoncoloured silk linen fashioned after the same style as the bride’s, with selfcoloured buttons down the back and black accessories.. Her bouquet was of pink gerberas, carnations, amarillas, and maidenhair fern. Mr Claude Morris, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man. At the wedding breakfast, which was held in the Regent Lounge, the bride’s mother, wearing a rust dress with black accessories, received the guests. Assisting her was Mrs Morris, who wore a black frock trimmed with white and black accessories. When Mr and Mrs Morris left on their honeymoon, the bride travelled in a navy costume with black hat and accessories. Their future home will be in Hamilton. DALZIEL— SMITH A wedding of wide King Country and Auckland interest was solemnised at St. Benedict’s Roman Catholic Church, Auckland, on Easter Monday, when Naomi Alison, only daughter of Mr John Smith and the late Mrs Smith, of Point Chevalier, was married to Augustine Oliver, eldest son of Mr and Mrs O. A. Dalziel, of Otorohanga. The Rev. Father McCormack, of Otorohanga and Te Kuiti, was the officiating clergyman, and the music was provided by Mrs Harris. The bride, escorted by her uncle, entered the church wearing a frock of white georgette over white satin and net. The bodice was shirred to the waist, with small white buttons down the back. The sleeves were long and came to a point over the hands. Her beautifully-worked tulle veil was held in place by a coronet of waxed arum lilies and orange blossom. She wore a triple string of pearls, and carried a bouquet of white pom-pom dahlias and maiden-hair fern. The bridesmaid was Miss Eleanor Breckon, of Auckland, who wore pale pink sheer, With shoes and accessories to match. Her tulle veil was held place with a coronet of pink blooms, and she carried a bouquet of pink dahlias and chrysanthemums. The bridegroom was attended by Mr K. Fergus, of Hamilton. A largely attended reception was held at the New Savoy Tea Rooms, Auckland, where Mrs Dalziel and Mrs Breckon received the guests. Mrs Dalziel sen. wore a model frock of Burgundy, navy hat and accessories, and a beautiful silver fox fur. She carried an armlet of salmon-pink dahlias, and wore a shoulder spray of red carnations.

Mrs Breckon was wearing a floral frock with red shoulder spray and navy accessories, and carried a posy of red carnations.

The bride travelled in a pale green costume with honey-coloured coat and hat and matching accessories. Mr and Mrs Dalziel will make their home in Hamilton.
