GIFT EVENING

BRIDE-ELECT HONOURED. Mrs E. S. Beer gave a very jolly gift evening at her home at Roto-o-rangi for Miss Audrey Morley, who is to be married shortly. The rooms were artistically decorated with bowls of spring flowers and foliage. Mrs Beer was wearing a beautiful gown of black lace over taffetas, and the bride-to-be wore black sheer trimmed with gold. Among those present were Mr and Mrs P. Beer, Mr and Mrs D. L. Dodd, Mr and Mrs A. Moore, Mrs G. W. Beer, Mrs R. Huhne; Misses J. Baxter, R. White, R. Ferguson, M. Boyce, McLarnon and Barbara Gane.
