The Te Awamutu Light Horse Association held their third hunt on Saturday last, on the property of Mr S. C. Macky, Paterangi. About 30 horses turned out, including two visitors from Thames. The Hunt went over the properties of Messrs S. C. Macky, R. F. Carey and A. Brown. The going was over good hunting country. There were about 18 post and rail jumps with a few natural hedges. At the conclusion of the day, Mr J. G. Wynyard, President of the Association, said how pleased they were to have a few distinguished friends with them, and thanked Mr and Mrs S. C. Macky for their kind hospitality in providing afternoon tea.
