CYCLE ROAD RACE
TO PARAWERA AND BACK. The results of last Saturday’s race to Parawera and back was as follows: N. Liddington (llmin) 52min 22sec, 1; A. Cleary (llmin.), 52min 50sec, 2; G. Kinzett (llmin) 53min 15sec, 3. Fastest time: T. Dalziel (scr), 46min lOsec, 1; J. McAneny (scr), 46min 10 2-ssec, 2; L. Johnson (30sec), 46 min 40 l-ssec, 3. The race was a very interesting one to watch as all riders put up very good times. The middle markers kept the scratch men going, also the limit boys and co-markers had to go to get their respective places. The road season later on will be worth watching. Fourteen started.
