Public Notices. BOROUGH ELECTIONS, TO THE ELECTORS. RADIES AND GENTLEMEN, —ln electing me as your Mayor for the ensuing term, you have conferred upon me a very great honour. I am deeply aware of the trust and confidence which the result of the poll discloses, and will strive to honour that trust to the best of my ability. I wish to express my thanks to all who voted for me, the Comlmittee who organised and conducted the campaign so efficiently, the helpers who came forward on Election Day, and worked so willingly, particularly the ladies for their valuable and muchappreciated assistance. Now that the people have manifested their decision, I call for the best wishes of all those w(ho recorded their votes against me, and look forward to their co-operation in all matters pertaining to the welfare of the Town.
