TE AWAMUTU BRANCH. The usual monthly meeting of the Te Awamutu Plunket Society was held in the Borough Council Chambers on Monday. Mrs Swarbrick presided and apologies were received from Mesdames A. Cole, O. O’Brien, S. Beedell and G. Wafring. The Nurse’s report was adopted as follows: New cases, 93; visits to homes, 15; visits to rooms (adults), 274, (babes) 265, (older children) 50; telephone calls, 50; box donations, £4 16s 7d.
