ENTERTAINMENTS

AT THE REGENT. AGAIN TO-NIGHT AND TUESDAY “SON OF FRANKENSTEIN.” Patrons at the Regent Theatre on Saturday night were thrilled with the presentation of the main picture, “Son of Frankenstein,” and many were the favourable comments passed as the audience was leaving the theatre. “Son of Frankenstein,” is, as the name implies, a continuation of the “Frankenstein” series that proved so popular in the past. Boris Karloff, Basil Rathbone, and Bela Lugosi are again admirable in their respective parts, and the whole picture is crammed with thrills, such as only the originator of “Frankenstein” could cram it. “Son of Frankenstein” is certainly well worth seeing, as also are the supporting featurettes.
