Te Awamutu and Hamilton competitors in the dancing events at the Tokaanu sports recently, in which there were competitors from Rotorua, Taihape and other districts, were fairly successful. Shirley Goldsbroiigh was first and second in the class restricted to competitors under 12 years; Elaine North gained three firsts and two seconds in the same restricted division, and first in the Irish jig under 14 years, second in the open Highland Fling, and second in the Tokaanu chompionship seantrlubhas; Nancy Howell was first in the open Highland Fling, and first in the Tokaanu championship seantriubhas.
