CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP DECIDED. A large attendance of spectators enjoyed to the full an exciting series of matches in Te Kawa Hall on Monday evening when the championship of Te Kawa Ping-Pong Club was decided. Bell, who though he did not reach the final played some exciting and close games in spite of his long handicap. In a number of instances he was giving away as many as thirteen and fourteen points. The scores in the semi-final were as follows: R. Chestnut defeated F. Bell, 21— 18, 22—.20, and L. Brooker defeated D. Walters, 21—13, 21—19.
