OTOROHANGA NEWS
RUGBY RESULTS. (Resident Representative.) Four fine Rugby contests were enjoyed by a large gallery of spectators on the Otorohanga Island Reserve on Saturday last, two senior and two junior matches. Otorohanga seniors defeated Kio Kio 9—6 alter a stirring battle for supremacy. R. Palmer and J. Turnbull scored the tries for Otorohanga, and N. Jones kicked a penalty goal. For Kio Kio, C. Rogers kicked two penalty goals. The senior contest between Otewa and Old Boys ended in a draw—3 all. In the junior games, Old Boys were defeated by High School by 27 to 12. Mr C. Hoar refereed. Otorohanga defeated Kio Kio by 9 to 4. Mr H. Miller was the referee.
