CHARITY BALL AT HAMILTON. A TE AWAMUTU DEBUTANTE. Airiong thirty-three debutantes at the dnnual Roman Catholic Charity Ball at Hamilton'on Thursday evening vias Miss Judith Malone, of Te Awamutu, wearing a frock of French hailstone taffeta cut on princess lines, the tight-fitting bodice being fashioned with a scalloped yoke and high Peter Pan collar, leg-of-mutton ,sleeves, a fully-flared skirt, and a knee-length cape of white fur plush. Other guests from Te Awamutu and neighbourhood included Mrs Frank Linehan (Chamberlain’s Road), nut brown cobweb lace; Mrs R. S. Noonan, emerald green floral accor-dion-pleated georgette; and the Misses R. O. Polhill, burgundy lace; N. Maxwell, ivory sequin net; P. McGovern, prunella satin; M- Maxwell, ivory chiffon with rose and blue velvet sprays; and J. Rothery (Otorohanga), petunia taffeta.
