LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
KIHIKIHI BRANCH. Mrs McGhie presided over a good attendance of the Kihikihi branch of the League of Mothers on Wednesday last. A question box occasioned discussion and amusement, and a bring-and-buy staff did good business. Arrangements for the branch’s birthday, to be held on the 26th instant, were completed. Points for flowers in the competition placed Mrs J. Anderson first, with Mrs McGhie securing second and third places. Mrs Maunder attended the meeting for a discussion on the form the centehniaT memorial should take.
Mrs Kinzett’s resignation as country correspondent was received with regret, and Mrs Haines was appointed to fill the vacancy.
