POWER BOARD CHAIRMAN REELECTED. A UNANIMOUS CHOICE. There was not much delay at the opening of the annual meeting of Te Awamutu Electric Power Board on Friday when the clerk called for nominations for the position of chairman for the twentieth term, for Mr J. T. Johnson was re-elected unanimously. The chairman’s honorarium was fixed again at £132. In acknowledging the re-election, Mr Johnson said he appreciated the continued confidence displayed, and referred to the happy relationships prevailing among Board members and between the Board and its staff, and he hoped that the pleasant circumstances would long continue.
