THE TE AWAMUTU CLUB. RESULTS OF FLAG MATCH. The flag match conducted by the Te Awamutu Golf Club on Saturday resulted in some exciting finishes, five players completing the 18 holes with strokes to spare. The winner, K. Bowden finished one foot from the pin on the 19th greeen, H. Andrews 3 yards from the 19th green and W. Sinnott 6 yards from the 19th green. The following are the results: K. Bowden, 93-27-66. W. On Saturday next a Stableford Bogey scramble will be conducted and the following week-ends (11th and 18th June), the Bertram Cup will be competed for. The latter cup is decided over 36 holes medal play on handicap, and the 32 players with the best net qualify to play for the Archeen Cup (match play). TE AWAMUTU LADIES’ CLUB. L.G.U. MEDAL ROUND. Playing on the Otorohanga links on Saturday afternoon the medal round was won by R. Snowden, with a score of 69 net, with Chris. Irvine runnerup with 70. The contest was a keen one, and was watched throughout by a large gallery of interested spectators. LOCHIEL CLUB. PLAY DURING WEEK-END. The first of two Stableford Bogey rounds for the President’s Trophy was played by members of the Lochiel Golf Club during the week-end. The best cards returned were: —R. S. Chalmers, 27—7—34; R.
