CRIBBAGE
TE AWAMUTU CLUB. The Te Awamutu Cribbage Club held its usual weekly series of matches in the R.S.A. looms last night. There was a larger attendance than usual, several visitors being introduced, and a little difficulty was found in accommodating them all, but everything turned out alright and a very pleasant evening was spent, there being an extra clatter of “fifteen twos” with the crowd. Owing to the coldness of the night, the supper was the best feature of the evening and full justice was done to it. The evening’s play resulted in Mrs T. W. Gee and Mr O. O’Brien handing in the best cards with eight games each, which was a good score considering the number of players present.
